NEW FOR 2025 - UTR MATCHPLAY SERIES
We offer a series of matchplays designed to facilitate matches for players looking for opportunities to improve their universal tennis rating (UTR).

How does is work?
Players are drawn against those with a similar UTR number with the aim of a UTR difference of less than 2.00 (subject to entries)
When will match results show on my UTR account?
- Match results are submitted to the LTA in the usual way at the end of a tournament.
- The LTA submits all results for Grade 1 (G1) through Grade 6 (G6) tournaments and events to the UTR system. Exports for the previous month are sent on 5th of every month. Please then allow up to 10 days for the results to be loaded.
- There is a time lag, of approximately six weeks, between play and results showing up in a player's UTR account. e.g. matches played and LTA recorded on 8th of February 2025 will not show in UTR account until mid-way through the following month, March 2025 and so on.
How can I enter?
Enter in the usual way - login to LTA British Tennis account, click on one of the links above or search by tournament code and enter.
To avoid disappointment, players are strongly advised:
- sign-up to Alliance-Tennis matchplay newsletter (coming soon) AND
- check emails for newsletter updates AND
- enter the matchplay tournament on the day it opens for entries
EARLY ENTRY ESSENTIAL
- Players are strongly advised to enter on the day the tournament is open for entries, if you leave it to the day before closing it may not run and you may not be accepted.
- Acceptance is by date/time of entry and factors in UTR rating.
- Tournament Organiser reserves the right to close early should demand for places exceed capacity.
